Reception rooms

Built in 1883, Old Pond House is a former Victorian rectory.

Its ground floor boasts 10ft high ceilings, two large reception rooms and a library leading off a generous entrance hall. With open fires and french doors leading out to the huge garden, Old Pond House is as inviting in the winter months as it is in the summer.

Furnished throughout in a luxe, eclectic style, mixing period features with mid-century furniture, statement lights and modern art, there’s ample space for everyone to come together, as well as lots of cosy corners to sneak off to for some peace and quiet.

Cooking & dining

The kitchen diner is beautifully equipped for the chefs of your party, with seating and settings for 12, a Nespresso machine, double oven and microwave plus an abundance of pans and utensils. A utility room with washing machine and dryer leads just off the kitchen.

Bathrooms

Old Pond House has three sizeable bathrooms, two with walk-in showers and one with a claw foot bath. In addition there are two separate WCs.

One of our favourite features of the house - the round window - can be found in the first floor ensuite.
